Erol Albayrak

Born in Izmir, Erol Albayrak studied fashion design at the Dutch Fashion & Art Academy after primary, secondary and high school. He designed read made clothing collections in leather, denim, underwear, evening dresses and wedding dresses for many export companies. The designer, who then came to Istanbul, created his own workshop and brand in 2001. With the support of the Dutch Royal Family, he designed his first thematic project, Selamlık Collection. His collection, which was exhibited in Türkiye and Europe and attracted great interest, was announced in the world's most important media outlets. With this collection, he was awarded a grand prize by the Prince Claus Fund, whose president is Queen Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard of the Netherlands. Erol Albayrak is known especially in the Netherlands as an influential artist in addition to his designer personality.

The designer holds the title of being the only designer to have won the Best Dress award for our country twice in 2005 and 2011 and for the Netherlands in 2006 at the Miss World Beauty Contest, which has been going on regularly for 94 years.

Erol Albayrak, who was chosen as the most successful fashion designer of the year at the European Union Quality Awards in 2012, also plays an active role in social responsibility projects.

Erol Albayrak, who dresses many important local and foreign names with his haute couture creations, also regularly designs ready made clothing collections twice a year and these ready made clothing collections he designs are preferred by many luxurious boutiques. He has recently entered the retailing process with his own boutique on Abdi İpekçi Street in Istanbul and aims to take his place as a Turkish designer brand in the World Fashion industry with the stores he will open in the world's important fashion centers in the coming period.

Erol Albayrak is an important Turkish designer who has successfully exhibited his collections in many fashion organizations considered important in the world, including Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Istanbul, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week New York, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin, Amsterdam Fashion Week, Beirut Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and has played an active role in the promotion of our country.
