Ender Bulgun
Ender Bulgun received her bachelor's, master and PhD degrees from the Textile Engineering Department of Ege University. During her master’s studies, she also attended the Fashion and Clothing Design Department at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts. Throughout her academic career, from 2005 to 2008, she taught fashion design-related courses in the "Fashion Design" department, established in collaboration with FIT, at Istanbul Technical University's Faculty of Textile Technologies and Design. Between 2008 and 2010, she worked at IMA (Istanbul Moda Academy), where she organized academic programs as the academic program leader. Additionally, she was involved in establishing the Fashion Design and Technology undergraduate program conducted in partnership with the London College of Fashion at IMA, organizing the entire curriculum and serving as the program leader.
In addition to her academic experience, she has worked on design collections for various companies and organized interdisciplinary collaborations through various projects. From 2004 to 2010, she also served as the Erasmus Coordinator at the Faculty of Engineering of Dokuz Eylül University.
She has been the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at Izmir University of Economics since 2012. Her research areas include ready-to-wear technology, fashion design, CAD systems and new technologies, smart clothing design, and applications.
