Arzu Kaprol

Arzu Kaprol is a Turkish fashion designer. She graduated from Mimar Sinan University Textile and Fashion Design Department in 1992. She continued her couture education at Paris American Academy in 1994-95.

 In 1995, at the age of 21, she founded her design studio with the prestigious “Avant-garde Designer” award from Beymen Academia.

She played an active role in the growth of NetWork, one of Beymen Group companies. She was the creative director of the brand between 2002-2012. In the same years, she created QUE, an extraordinary and new design brand.

Between 2011-2015, she took part in the official Paris Fashion Week calendar with her fashion shows and opened the brand's showroom on Rue Saint Honore. With Paris Fashion Week shows, the sales network moved to the international arena and the collection began to be featured in iconic stores such as London Harrods, Paris Montaigne Market and New York Bergdorf Goodman.

In 2011, for the 25th anniversary of the amfAR night held at New York's MOMA - The Museum of Modern Art - she designed seven red couture dresses representing the official red ribbon.

In 2015, Türkiye’s first hologram show and in 2016, Turkey’s first Digital Symphony were realized with a multidisciplinary approach combining design, music, dance and technology. In the same year, Arzu Kaprol’s digital couture show was featured in national and international press. In 2015, Arzu Kaprol created one of the first prototypes in the field of wearable technologies with a smart jacket that shapes its shape and functionality with climate change.

In 2021, she took over the roles of Bilişim Vadisi Wearable Technologies Coordinator, YASTED President and TGSD Board Member, which she still continues today. In 2022, she designed protective clothing for Turkish scientists who worked on an Antarctic expedition with the assignment of TÜBİTAK Polar Research Institute (KAREMAM) to adapt to extreme conditions. Since 2023, she has been the creative director of the Innovation Hub area within the Texhibition fair, the most important fabric fair in our country organized by İTHİB.

Today, Arzu Kaprol continues to make references to the fashion culture of the future by creating timeless clothes and accessories, combining a passion for technology and futuristic design with unique craftsmanship.
